▶ Andrew Baisely : As Managing Director of Tech in Asia Studios, Andrew helps global brands connect with startups, entrepreneurs and investors across Asia. He leads a regional team focused on multi-media content production, sales, account management and strategy. Prior to joining Tech in Asia, Andrew spent more than 5 years at Facebook helping to build out the company's global data partnerships business, growing these channel partnerships from $10 million to more than $4 billion in ARR. Originally from New York City, Andrew spent his earlier career in a number of video and AdTech startups, focusing on product management before shifting into business development and partnerships roles.

▶ O Kwon : O Kwon is a partner at FuturePlay leading the investment group. FuturePlay is a company builder based in Seoul, Korea helping and investing in cutting edge technology startups (serving more than 100 startups globally). Before joining FuturePlay, he ran sales and operations at Finomial, a Boston based fintech startup, served hundreds of fund managers and financial institutions. He started his career at Deloitte Boston and Vietnam. O is a certified public accountant and holds a business administration degree from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.

 

▶ James Park : With a background in investment banking and hedge funds, James specializes in strategy and fundraising in private and public capital markets, focusing on tech, retail and consumer goods industries. James co-founded Revive Kit, a Canadian health products firm, and serves on its board. James also co-founded Exalto Advisory and advised 100+ clients on government/private funding needs. Along with his current role as Interim Managing Director of the Techstars Korea Accelerator, James advises companies at Toptal, a global, exclusive network of top finance experts.

 

▶ Jupe Tan : Jupe joined Plug & Play in 2008 and started its international division in 2009. He launched its first international accelerator program which has since worked with over 800 startups from more than 30 countries. Jupe was responsible for Plug & Play’s early international expansion into Europe, Latin America and Asia. He is currently responsible for Plug & Play’s Asia Pacific operations with a focus on Southeast Asia. He manages a team of 50 across Plug & Play’s regional offices in Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok and Manila. Plug & Play APAC runs startup accelerator programs, corporate innovation activities and invests in early stage startups.
